Two people have reported seeing Snowy Owls in central West Seattle yesterday:

I scouted the area and saw no indications of a Snowy. It may be that people misidentified a Barred Owl, or that it left, or that it's still covertly around. Or that I'm just not that good of a scouter! Hopefully a Snowy will indeed show up.
