Subject: [Tweeters] Today at McComb Gardens

We had 20+ Evening Grosbeaks in the Gardens today at noon.
They were feeding, fighting, and sharing the seedpods of a Japanese Maple (Osakazuki).
The maples have an extraordinary crop of seed this year.

What a beautiful sight,
Jane

Subject: [Tweeters] Banded Tundra Swans

For the record keepers. Among the Tundra Swans I saw yesterday there were two that had blue bands around their neck. The numbers were P901 and P903. The digit could have been a P but I don't think so. They birds were seen south of Toppenish on the corners of Oldenway and Jensen/Jost Rds.
