I stayed at the Thackeray location until almost 4 pm, hoping for another
look at the Summer Tanager, but it didn't return. It must not be visiting
this feeder very often.

Subject: [Tweeters] Summer Tanager update

This afternoon, I visited the Wallingford, Seattle home of Henry Mustin,
where the Summer Tanager was seen again this morning. Tammy and Eric
Bjorkman, who are doing a Washington Big Year, also were there. When the
tanager didn't show up at Henry's house for awhile, Eric took a walk around
and found the tanager at the feeders of a house nearby, on NE 43rd St one
house from the corner of NE 43rd St and Thackeray Pl NE. The bird flew back
toward Henry's house, so it's possible that it moves between the two houses.

I left a note for the homeowners on Thackeray, so I hope they won't be
shocked to see some birders watching their feeders, which are easily viewed
from across the street.
