We used my ebird alert email to locate a Tufted Duck at Marine Park in
Vancouver. The duck was reported Dec 11 by Ryan Abe on ebird. We were
able to locate it very easily yesterday (Dec 12). For those who don't know
about the alerts on ebird, in this case, I get emails every day on
sightings of birds that I haven't seen for the year. It's a great resource
on finding birds in addition to Tweeters.
