What a terrific video! Thank you for sharing.

I have a couple of Sharp-shinned Hawks, one young and one mature, that
have been using my feeders as a hunting ground. I also spotted a
Northern Shrike twice this week. Apparently my Banquet O' Pine Siskins
is quite inviting.

Just yesterday I was refilling the seed feeders (a twice daily job with
the flock of 100 PiSi or more) and while I fill, the siskins aren't
bothered by my presence so I am surrounded by the "thwip-thwip-thwip"
tiny helicopter sounds of a hundred wings flapping around me when all of
the sudden I heard "THHWUUUP-THHWUUUP-THHWUUUP" and the adult S-sHawk
passed within 3 feet of my head. We all, the siskins and I, hit the deck.

What a treat to watch a hawk perched for so long. Again, thank you!
