It was wet, cold and getting dark at 4:30 as I left 72nd checking for Snowy Owls.A Great Blue Heron near a ditch and caught my attention. Then I saw on a post a dark blob that did not seem right.Backing up I was able to get a great look at the owl as it just sat there looking around. Actually got a decent photo from my car even with at 1/5sec & ISO 4000!First I've seen in that area. Ericericellingson.com
