Unfortunately I have a conference that week, otherwise would jump at the
chance. Which brings me to a Tweeters topic.

I am a single birder who is very interested in international birding travel
with like-minded persons. I hate paying single supplements, it's sometimes
hard to get a guide to good places without a group, and I'd love to bird in
the company especially of those from my native region. I don't know if this
is a good use of Tweeters but it has crossed my mind that this is the only
way I know of to reach others in that way. I'll go birding anywhere in the
world given half a chance, but it would be nice to have travel companions.
Most of the things like Meetup groups I've seen are more into adventure
travel (read ziplines and class 4 rafting) than serious ecotravel.

So if it's not considered inappropriate, I'd love to see more posts like
this. And you're welcome to contact me offlist as well.
