hey tweets:

i walked outside last night near midnight and suddenly stopped when i
realized i had just seen a small moth. looked to be about 5/8 of an inch
across and skittered about as moths are wont to do.

i see online there's a critter called the winter moth, at least back
east:

does anyone know what the potential bird food i saw was and what sorts of
other interesting bird related nighttime winter critters and activities are
out there to see for the not blindered?

regards,

t
