hi everyone,

i've been working on this piece about the viral "golden eagle grabs
baby" video most of the day and thought you might appreciate reading
more about it:

lots of email, tweets and comments on the piece, but i think we all
can rest easy now; it is a hoax. it was a college assignment. makes me
wonder if the professors consider the amount of media attention it
garnered when making their final grades?
