Every late afternoon/early evening for more than thirty years we can watch an hour-long narrow "river" of Northbound crows. They are always up between 200 to 250 feet, following a narrow route between Lake Washington and Sand Point Way at NE 113th. I've never tried to count the daily totals, but have clocked as many as two to three hundred per minute. There is a less dense daily Southbound migration just after first light, following the same route but more widely spaced.

Late afternoons a few hundred very noisy crows gather for perhaps a half hour at nearby Meadowbrook Pond, before leaving in a single mass. They head directly toward our house; perhaps they constitute a "tributary" to the main "river" several blocks to the East.
