Today about 9:30 a.m. I saw 3 Chinese Geese at Sammamish State Park. If you take Exit 15 from Eastbound I-90, turn left onto 17th NW, left onto NW Sammamish Rd., turn right into the park and head toward the beach. There are a whole lot of picnic tables at the beach, walk towards the right and in front of the trees is where we saw these birds. Their bodies are similar to the juvenile Greater White-fronted Goose, they have a brown stripe up the back of the neck, the rest of which is white. The stripe becomes a brown cap down to the eyes. The breast is reddish beige. Bill is black.
