Bob, a local birder, and I tried for the BUOW last Wednesday (you're right, the weather was miserable with gale force winds/rain - reminded me of searching for a Wheatear...) without luck.

And if you get this information about the wetlands and would also let me know, if it comes to your private email vs to tweeters....I would seriously appreciate it...I don't know either....also have you been part of Bob's Group that saw the Burrowing owl in Sequim. When I talked to Bob last he said that there was a group going out Wed pm and he would let me know where and when....it was a terrible day and I never heard from him...so assumed the group didn't go... Jon and I would love to see it...it's a life bird for both of us.
