Hi I got your email address from the Christmas Bird Count web site. I am pretty sure I saw a couple of Nashville Warblers (aka Calaveras warbler) with a bunch of bushtits. Size and markings matched the Cornell web info, but those little guys aren't supposed to be around here, at least not this time of year. Also pretty sure I saw one frenetic little Nashville a year ago in November at Diamond Point, between Port Townsend and Sequim. Both today's and that one were foraging pretty close to the ground. Any other reports of this bird here in early winter?
