It is cold and snowy in Courtenay, BC. As the day progressed the field and road flooded more than ever. Knee high rubber boots are a must. Those of us who made the trip for today were assisted by local birder Dave Ingram, who last saw the wagtail Thursday afternoon. We are settled in for the night and will try again for the bird tomorrow morning. Dave said he would return to join us. It's always nice to have local eyes. We will know that we gave this chase our best shot.
