We are pleased to say that the collared trumpeter swan that was found
injured (shot) in the Fred Meyer parking lot near Mill Creek in early
November was released back to the wild today.

You can see this on the Channel 5 news tonight at 5 pm.

She was released up at Lake Terrell near Ferndale. So, for you intrepid
observers, if you see a yellow collar M49 please let me know. She is an old
girl of at least 15 years. She flew well upon release at the lake.
Hopefully she will survive a few more years.
