Hi, Connie and I saw the Burrowing Owl about 4 p.m. this afternoon thanks to some help from visiting birders from Toronto. They had seen the owl earlier and were kind enough to show us the exact spot where it was. The bird was was in the south west corner of the field due west of Scuttlebutt's brew pub. There is a black plastic fence about 200 yards due west of the brew pub. It was close to the muddy mounds at that end of the field. Close to a tree stump with lots of roots. And especial thanks to Carol Riddell who persevered in relocating the owl and had the audacity to find it in the dark last night! Also thanks to the original finder Kathy Smith. Had to drive from Walla Walls to get this bird - so close to home! Cheers, Steve
