I was pretty sure all I could offer was a heartfelt Happy New Year and a big thank you for all the turkey vulture reports during the year . . . but!! . . . it seems a few turkey vultures are hanging around in Oregon. Yesterday, six birds were seen by Tim Rodenkirk in the Coquille Valley. The Coos Bay area on the coast also has vultures again this winter. I'm glad the vultures are finding good winter spots in Oregon. Maybe some around here?
