Hi All,
?
There are still a very few spots left for the 2012 Rocky Point Bird Observatory Banding Workshop!

The Rocky Point Bird Observatory is offering an
introductory bird monitoring and
banding workshop at Royal Roads University
in Victoria, BC, from March 30-April
1, 2012. The 3-day workshop will focus
on bird identification, monitoring
procedures and techniques, sexing and
ageing. Components this year will include
owl monitoring and banding demo and
an optional session on specimen
preparation. The program has been developed
for people with little or no bird
handling and/or banding experience, but
those with intermediate skills will also
find the workshop a good way to
build knowledge.

Cost for this workshop is $300 ($280 for RPBO members),
or $250 for students.
Onsite accomodation can be arranged as
well.

There is a limit of 18 participants, and spaces will fill up
fast!

For more information, and to register, visit http://rpbo.org/rpboworkshop12.htm

We
hope to see you there!
