I tramped around the Fill this afternoon for an hour or so, and ran into a
half-dozen or so other hopeful birders, but none of us was able to locate
the TUDU. The usual suspects were out, however: Shovelers, green-winged
teal, bufflehead, and so forth. A lovely red-tailed hawk sulked with its
back to the Fill on the northern edge, overlooking the driving range, but
then flew off northward toward University Village.



Maybe this weekend, though! Hope springs eternal!
