Saturday morning (1/11), Will Clemons and I went to see the previously-posted TUFTED DUCK near Lacamas Lake in Camas.? At the outflow of Lacamas Lake, is Round Lake and, to its right, as you walk from the parking area toward the two dams on Round Lake is Mill Pond a narrow 'slough-like' body of water.

The handsome drake TUFTED DUCK was hanging out with three pairs of RING-NECKED DUCKs on Mill Pond.? We got very good looks at this fellow, as Mill Pond is quite narrow.? A scope was not necessary.

We looked only briefly (too many off-leash canines) for the Red-naped Sapsucker at Capt. Wm. Clark Park in Washougal but did not find it.? There are plenty of cottonwoods there for it, so it is likely still along the Columbia River somewhere nearby.
