Now that the McKay's Bunting has been identified and we know that it
responds to a Snow Bunting call playback, I sincerely hope that all will
follow ABA guidelines, which I believe WOS has adopted:



"Limit the use of recordings and other methods of attracting birds, and
never use such methods in heavily birded areas, or for attracting any
species that is Threatened, Endangered, or of Special Concern, or is rare in
your local area."



We have gone through quite a finger-pointing about photographers and
discussion about policing your own. Please don't be "one of them" for this
or any other rarity.
