Rhett Wilkins and I easily refound the drake Tufted Duck near Lacamas Lake in Camas this afternoon (see Carol Ledford's posting for more details). We were initially surprised by an American Dipper, but later noted that there is lots of good habitat available for them there.
On the way back we saw the Red-naped Sapsucker at Captain Clark Park in Washougal just north and south of the western of the two shelters.
