Tweets,
Wanted to follow up on Randy Hills point on playback with personal observation. I was with the initial group of people this morning looking at the bunting. The bird was acting very tame and foraging amongst the grass. I do not believe that any playback of the bird is needed to find it. A much better strategy is to walk slowly through the area looking for the bird. I saw no evidence this morning that the bird was even interacting with our group and do not believe that playback would have had substantial increase in our viewing chances. The best approach (for bird and birders) is to just search and be patient.

It is a wonderful bird.
