There was a juv. dark or gray morph Gyrfalcon at the park this afternoon.
It perched tamely on a bare tree at the end of the trail atop the bluff,
allowing very close approach. It was there around 3:30 to 4:00pm.

The Redpolls reported from this park were not around this afternoon...but
otherwise there was fair bird activity out on the sound.
