After leaving Denver Holt's Snowy Owl informative and entertaining
talk Saturday afternoon at Edison Elem. School, I drove into Edison to
see if the light Merlin was to be found on or near the usual 3-conifer
spot a block east of the Farm-to-Market Bakery. She was and was on
and off the same branch of the same tree for the hour or so that I was
there, hunting constantly, but not scoring any dinner while I and some
other viewers were there.

Photos can be seen in my Flickr acct. in the set "Around Edison" : http://flic.kr/s/aHsjyHJ4F6

Anyone know if this Merlin nests in the area, or if more than one
light Merlin has been seen in or near Edison? I have seen a few
Merlins in the Samish Flats, but not all have been light-colored...

Thanks to the Edison community and businesses, for the great 1st
Annual Birdfest - look forward to a 2nd one next year.
