As some of you may recall, I collected Snowy Owl pellets from the
South Jetty of the Columbia River during the 2005-06 irruption. Some
of the results are still posted at:
http://home.pacifier.com/~neawanna/SNOW/SNOW_pellets.html

The full results were also published in Northwest Naturalist [Spring
2007 88(1):12-14].

Only one owl turned up at the South Jetty this season and it only
stayed for 4 days. So, no pellet collecting down here this year.

Hello, tweeters.

I don't know why it has taken me so long to think of this, but we
should have been collecting pellets from those Snowy Owls throughout
the winter, so we can get some idea of what they are eating.
