Subject: [Tweeters] Bald Eagles activity (nesting?) on Soos Creek

We live just above the fish hatchery on Big Soos Creek (the second driveway
on the left above the complex). I first noticed a pair of Bald Eagles in
mid October, making calls to each other. They are still here, and appear
to be exhibiting mating behavior. Circling, calling to each other, etc.
No actual breeding observed yet, but I am not outside much. I haven't been
able to find a nest sight, either.
One was sitting in a tree late yesterday afternoon when I cam across my
bridge. I had my window open (looking at all the trees and branches I will
have to begin cleaning up in the next few weeks!). He/she just sat in the
tree, about 30 feet up, as I drove by looking at him/her. He/she never
budged. I wish that I had my camera with me!
