Hi All: A great resource for laying dates is the Burke's WA Breeding Bird Phenology. Anna's are on p 67 (http://www.burkemuseum.org/pub/part_6.pdf). There are only five nest records for Anna's. Earliest is 13 Feb. Other are 24 Feb, 13 Mar, 28 Mar & 21 April for first-egg dates. As always, more data are needed.
