Subject: [Tweeters] Padilla Bay Eurasian Teal

There was a male Eurasian (Common) Teal with all its Green-winged cousins
and Pintails, at Padilla Bay today. He was dabbling in the mud in the
slough, just past the red shed if you walk in from the highway side parking
lot. There were hundreds of Green-winged Teal all up and down the slough,
so he could turn up anywhere around there. Other highlights included
singing Western Meadowlarks - at least three; and a clean, gorgeous adult *
tundrius* Peregrine, who flew by close overhead and then landed on a pole
by the highway. That upset the teal a little bit!
