Yesterday afternoon (02/26/12) the Gyrfalcon was in the same location as noted by Cameron Cox on 02/22/12: just west of the intersection of Chilberg and Best Rds in Skagit County. This location is a bit east of La Conner.

When I first spotted the gyr, it was engaged in a dispute with a young Peregrine Falcon. The peregrine left the area and the gyr remained, perching first on a wooden post and then on the ground.
