With some extremely detailed information on the Stanwood snowy owl spot from
folks on this list (thanks!), I headed up there this morning. I arrived at
dawn and stuck around until about 9:30 without seeing any owls. I don't
think the hunters helped. Are they gone later in the day?



I did see several red-tailed hawks, one bald eagle, and one northern
harrier, not to mention hundreds (thousands?) of Canada geese (hence the
hunters).
