Hello,

This morning my son Joshua and I found what appears to be county first
HOARY REDPOLL in Pend Oreille. The bird was in with a flock of Common
Redpolls about head high 15 feet from us. The location is along LeClerc Rd
in the Kalispell Indian Reservatio, Across the road from the "Manresa
Grotto" there is a parking area near the edge of the Pend Oreille River.
The Hoary was in with a flock of Commons feeding in this spot. We were
greeted with Common Redpolls nearly everywhere we stopped. beginning at the
corner of Kirkpatrick and Milan Farms Rd. There is also a Cassin's Finch
coming into the feeder here.

Other good birds were a Cackling Goose along Allen Rd, Bohemian Waxwings
and a Pileated Woodpecker at River Bend.

Blessings
