And how would you define "quality bird"?

That ranks right up there with, "What's your favorite bird?"
And that's also under the heading of "different strokes.....etc."
FYI, my favorite/totem bird is the Killdeer, and the story behind that choice is very special to me!

And how would you define "quality bird"? Something that looks good on a list somewhere? My favorite and most memorable bird from a trip to Panama which tallied 300 species overall was a Mountain Thrush. Silly little brown bird, nothing special about it, certainly not exciting or worth writing home about...but it holds a special place in my heart just because of the circumstances.
