Hello,

I spent a delightful day in Asotin County. It took an hour to do so, but I
found my target Snowy Owl. Today, this bird was about .3 south of Davis Rd
on Onstot Rd - well over 1/2 mi to the east sitting in a rock pile with a
few fence posts. Even at a distance, it was still a great bird.

This was my second Snowy of the day. Earlier in the morning, I snuck over
into Idaho and found the Genesee Bird, It was located just west of Hwy 95
about 100 yards out in a field, in Nez Perce County just south of the Latah
county line.

Other good birds seen today were about 75 Bohemian Waxwings in Anatone.
Field Springs State park yielded a Northern Pygmy Owl, Hairy Woodpecker,
Chestnut backed Chickadees and Brown Creepers. On Weissenfels Rd, there
were two Golden Eagles and a Prairie Falcon and several Northern Shrikes.

At Heller Bar there was a flock of Lesser Goldfinches. There were several
Ruby crowned Kinglets at various places along the river.

Blessings
