Subject: [Tweeters] Lacey Black Phoebe

The bird was at exactly the same location as Marv described, from 10:00 to
10:30 am today. Walk straight out to the water and benches and look across
the pond, slightly left of the shelter. The bird stays mainly low.
This is a little different from seeing about a dozen* Black Phoebes* in
Southern California over Christmas, including one looking out of my
daughter's living room window!
Also seen at the Hogum Bay Ponds, was a pair o*f Bald Eagles* repairing
their nest, *American Kestrel, Common Raven, Great Blue Heron, Gadwall,
American Wigeon, Bufflehead* and *Hooded Merganser*.

Happy New Birding Year!
