A word of cautiion: I have a book "An Eye for a Bird", by a Britisher Eric Hosking("the most famous bird photographer of our time"), published in 1970, in which the author desctribes how he was attacked by a tawny owl while attempting to photograph it from a blind. He lost his eye to the owl. PS It is a very fine book on photography, with a foreward by the Duke of Edinburgh. Bill
