hi:

i can't remember if i posted about last weekend's trip up to rockport, but
a friend asked how things up there were and i sent this:

this is the best year for eagles in at least five years. the fish are all
over the place and the river is low. the best places last week were the
530 bridge at rockport, the pull out on hwy 20 right after the intersection
w/ 530 (place we shot some when we were there) and up around mile post
101. the best time to get real action is EARLY. w/in a half-hour to an
hour after dawn. by 9:00 am things will start slowing down as far as
action is concerned, but there will still be lots of birds. possibility of
flying shots exists all day.

regards,

t
