I went back to Disco Park yesterday afternoon hoping to get more close views of the redpolls because I swear one of them was very white with minimal streaking. The area was dead though, and looking up I saw why: a dark MERLIN was eating a Pine Siskin at the top of one of the evergreens in the area. Later a NORTHERN SHRIKE was working the south meadow flying from perch to perch.
