Hello Tweets:

While riding with my son down Ferdinand in the north 43rd Street area of
Tacoma I saw what I believe to have been a juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk run
across the street in front of us and then zip under a parked car. This
happened about 10 am this morning. It came out for a moment from under the
car and spread its wings and then went back under the car. It had the
horizontal dark/light markings that seemed gray/dark gray and didn't appear
to have any white on it. It looked like a juvenile from the pictures I've
found on the Internet.

This is the first one I've seen in Tacoma. (Years ago, saw then at times
near my feeders in Kent.) I do know that there are bird feeders in the
neighborhood where I saw it.
