Karen and I visited Damon Point State Park on Sunday, January 8. The
lighting was perfect and the Snowy Owls were magnificent; in fact, it was
still another of the best days of my life.

I can fairly say that in taking these pictures, I did not cause a single
owl to take flight (though I took pictures of owls flying that were
occasionally flushed by others). If you haven't gone to the coast yet to
see these owls, pick a nice day and go. It is truly magical.
