To my Tweeters Washington State birding community,

I have recently reorganized my nature walk / tour / botanical survey, etc. business under the
name:
Stewart's Stewardship Adventures in Nature

I have scheduled two upcoming "Owl Prowls", one in:
Schmitz Park in West Seattle Friday, January 20th 4:30 pm. We will walk until about 6pm.

and a second in:
Shoreline's Hamlin Park (just 20 blocks north of the Seattle city limits)

Sunday, January 22th 4:30 pm. We will walk until about 6pm.

Here is a link directly to the announcements for the two hikes:

Our first owl hike (since re-roganizing) in Lincoln Park last week was quite a success!

The theme of my business will be to both share my enthusiasm for and knowledge of nature, and to
incorporate some habitat stewardship information and stewardship activities into my walks,
programs and trips.

I am putting together some "Early Birds and Early Buds" walks to emphasize both early signs of
Spring in both the plants and the behavior of the birds, so keep posted. These will be both in
Lincoln Park in West Seattle, where I have been stewarding the native vegetation for over a
decade, and other Seattle area parks. I am open to suggestions / requests for programs or trips
throughout the whole larger region.

The walks will mostly be appropriate for all ages, and levels from beginner to experts.

Keep checking the website for announcements of upcoming walks, trips or programs.

I also expect to be posting announcements in neighborhood blogs (especially the West Seattle
Blog, in the neighborhood where I am based.), and the Seattle Times site, among other ways to
spread the word. If anyone wants to recommend additional sites, lists, publications, etc. worth
using to spread the word for this kind of thing I will be happy to hear suggestions!
