After feeling like I was the last person in Seattle to see Common Repolls
this winter, I was able to locate them at Pritchard Beach this afternoon. I
watched them from 12:45-1:20, along with Rachel Lawson, Curtis and Bobby
Pearson, and George R. I saw five in a flock with 13 goldfinch and two
Pine Siskins. They were feeding in the large birch trees just north of the
park. They were easily visible from the park. I had great looks with my
binoculars but they were very scopable as well, so bring a scope to watch
these lovely finches.
