Here is a summary of some of the notable birds I saw today in Lincoln
County

MONDOVI: BOHEMIAN WAXWING (~ 150 as previoulsy reported).

MILL CANYON: Redhread, Canvasback, Horned Grebe, California Quail, Bald
Eagle, GOLDEN EAGLE (1 adult), N Pygmy Owl, Hairy, Downy, WHITE HEADED
WOODPECKER (2), Northern Shrke, Pacific Wren, Bewick's Wren, Ruby Crowned
(rare in winter) and Golden Crowned Kinglet, Red Crossbill, COMMON REDPOLL
(2 small flocks).

HARKER CANYON (canyon west of Mill Cyn): N Pygmy Owl, Hairy Woodpecker,
Clark's Nutcracker, TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE, Red Crossbill.

FORT SPOKANE: Cooper's Hawk

SEVEN BAYS; Barrow's Goldeneye

HAWK CREEK CAMPGROUND; Grren winged Teal, Am Dipper,

HAWK CREEK RD; Hooded Merganser, Steller's Jay, Clark's Nutcracker, Red
Crossbill

DAVENPORT: Merlin

MORRISON RD: SNOWY OWL - sitting on farm equipment and shed just east of
Oman's Rd

DETOUR RD: Short Eared Owl (5)

Back in Spokane County:McFarlane Rd on West Plains: AMERICAN TREE SPARROW
(10), Short eared Owl (2).
