During the snow today, a male Anna's would sit on the perch in front of the feeder under the turkey pan lid I placed overhead to give some cover. He sat there conserving energy, taking sips/glugs while his motor ran. I said "Hello Little Bird" and he just sat there, content in front of the nectar, his back to me.

Is there any type of man-made roost that they go to short of inviting them in :)? In the last deep freeze we had, I know I would bring out the feeders I kept in all night and they would be right there even before dawn buzzing me. I was wondering if they were under my deck.

Stay warm Tweets!
