Today Birdying was good all Day!!!!!
I start early today,exchanging the 3 Hummingbird Feeder,IT WAS ONLY 7.30 AM,
and it was cold.I always cover my Bird Bath at Nights,the top was frozen
shot,I got a Bucked full of Hot Water and put some Hot water to the Ice cold
water.Than I hang some of the Suet Feeder out )the ones who got holes and
out of Wood.So no strange predator can make the HOLE BIGGER,AND CHEWING UP
the Wood getting some Suet out
The birds was already coming despite the snow fallen right after 8,00 AM
in big flocks.I was surrounded by BOTH SPECIES OF Chickadee's FAIRLY NEW
,high count of Pine- SISKIN 30 Birds,replacing the House Finches.But one
who are partly Pink in the Wings.I have some of the Pin Siskin are so bright
(probable Males ARE BRIGHTER,
during the Day Townsend's Warblers increasing 7 Birds on time on one feeder
and on another 4 birds.This is the highest count sofar., there are easy 15
to 18 birds.Since I FEED IN THE FRONT YARD AND THE Backyard ,right of my
Patio.
I also have 2 Song-Sparrow,and 6 Yellow -RUMPED Warblers(there became real
Tame.Lot's of Dark-eyed Junco,Spotted -
Towhee,also on Suet,The 6 Bewicks Wren's love the PATIO staying around my
Noble Fir tree,What are lidden with Christmas lights now,there eating SUET &
cracked Peanuts.I have both Kinglet's and 4 time A DAY 25 TO 35
Bushtits,going on all Feeders
I only see 2 Varied Thrushes ,there came real early this season ( In past
years high count was 18 )of this birds. I also have only 4 Robin what is
very low.High count on Red-breasted Nuthatch there been breeding in my yard
every year and staying around all year there also feed on the crushed Nuts
and suet.And also Lot's of the big Flickers and 4 Steller's Jay,and last the
Downy Woodpeckers 3 pairs there love the Suet.
This are all my winter birds. And on OCCASION I HAVE the COOPERS HAWK
around,and I also have Band-tailed Pigeon
I put some few picture taken last week all from my Yard. I forgot the
Purple Finches 2 female & 1 Male.
