Subject: [Tweeters] Snowy Owl sign for Damon Point

Guy and Tweets,
Ok, if "their survival depends on it" is too over the top, how about removing this phrase out and adding the phrase, "you could harm it." So, something like, "Remember, if you get so close to an owl that it starts to fly away, you are too close and you could harm it."

Hey Tweets,
Getting back to this:
?
I have received pledges for a few $$, and it does not sound like it will be an issue to post a sign out on Damon Point.
(Or this may be a case of "It is better to beg forgiveness than ask permission")
And I have a tip about a place that will make a sign.
?
Now the tough part - Wording.
?
I asked around, and this is approximately what the sign says up on Boundary Bay, so lets start from there:
?
"Please keep a reasonable distance from the Snowy Owls; their survival depends on it. Remember, if you get so close to an owl ?that it flushes, you are too close!"
?
Please send me any suggested changes offline.? And please let me know how you feel this.
If I get piles of negative comments, I will let it go.? But I got enough pledges (and therefore supported interest) to at least feel justified in contining to try to get a sign posted.

Once I get one created, I will worry about getting out there to place it? ;)? Just not in the next couple of days!? ;)
