Hello Tweeters,

I'm about to head off on an adventure - 7 weeks, most of February and March, traveling around Thailand (and perhaps a neighboring country or two). I have a several guide books, but am overwhelmed by trying to figure out where we should/must go when I'm there. We have a VERY loose itinerary consisting of March in north and February at the beaches of the south.

If anyone has been and has any advice on must-see parks and birds or recommended guides, please respond to me directly. ?Heck, non-birding advice would be welcome, too. The only thing I'm not looking for are several day long package deals.?
