Howdy
The northern mockingbird was easy to find this afternoon in Port Angeles.
It seems to like the west side of Peabody between 10th and 11th, there are
several hollies in the yards there. I found it perched on electric wires
about 3:45. A robin actually sidled up to it and chased it into a tree,
first time I've seen a mocker back down from much of anything. So
apparently it's not feeling too territorial, despite its attachment to the
site.
Good birding!
