Howdy Tweets,

Like others, I noticed an increase in activity at our feeder (sunflower seed) during the snowy weather. I also noticed that the juncos were eagerly chowing down on the dark purple berries of some bushes in our yard. These bushes are about 2 to 3 feet tall and they started blooming/fruiting about three weeks ago. Their flowers smell very sweet and, until this colder weather, they made our whole yard smell wonderful.
