Thank you, Ann Marie, and the rest of the great folks that replied with information on how I can prevent more of these events from taking place. You have all been helpful and wonderful!

Best regards,

Dusty:

Seattle Audubon is a good source. They can also take your order by phone and ship it to you for a small fee. Check the website for more info:

_____

G'day all;
We had a fatal window-strike by a Golden-Crowned Kinglet earlier today. I recollect
that there was a discussion along this line a few weeks ago. In it, someone mentioned a
material that could be affixed to windows in order to make them more visible to our
birdy friends.
I searched but was unable to come up with the correct words to find that post. If anyone
reading here could repost the name of that material, and where I can get it, I and my
little feathered friends would be MOST appreciative!
I don't want to lose another of those gorgeous creatures due to my neglect.
TIA,
Dusty Bleher
